Vertex Innovations is looking for a Network Provisioner to provide tracking the details of various switch turn-up efforts for a wireless company. The majority of work will be handled under the direction of a Senior Manager. Roles & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for:
· Supporting DS3 routes and installation, opening SS7 routes, and ensuring all the Xng/Xpercomm/Granite entries are completed accordingly
· Working on multiple projects, analyzing, correcting and completing data entry as well as performing Xng/Xpercomm/Granite one-on-one training for other professionals
· Reviewing and correcting all existing Paths and Segments in Xng/Xpercomm/Granite to assure appropriate design and layouts
· Tracking the progress of the network build from a facilities standpoint, delivery of network transport facilities and the turn up of the facilities on the network.
· Generating reports for the manager Requirements, Qualifications, and Education
Candidates will be required to have:
· A minimum of 6-10 years of wireless experience
· Experience with transport network facilities including:
o PSTN trunks, SS7 routes, LD, Wireless to Wireless, DS0-DS1-DS3 cross-connects, OC3, OC192 Ring Designs
o Entrance facilities utilized for connectivity of Inter-office facilities (IOF), inter-machine trunks (IMT), and wireless to wireless transport systems
o E911 trunks to the new PSAPs for phase 0,
o Allocated customer facilities assignment (CFA) and provisioned spans using ASRs for new build cell sites and growth for existing trunk groups i.e. 2A, 2B, LD etc. using various bandwidths and updating the transport database Xng. Preferred Skills
