Vertex Innovations is looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide a vast array of support activities for a wireless company.
Roles & Responsibilities
The essential responsibilities of this position are:
· Coordinating and managing multiple large wireless network projects
· Handling all project coordination, conference calls, spreadsheets, driving vendor/client project reports, scheduling, presentation slides/reporting
· Monitoring schedules and alerting on conditions which may lead to delays in the completion of work or delays to when the construction schedule falls behind
· Communicating progress and problems associated with project
· Providing documentation and written record as to the progress, problems, solutions, change orders, and other items which reflect the progress or lack of
· Providing written and verbal reports to specified groups as directed
· Observing testing, verifying the results, and providing documentation as required as part of systems operations
Requirements, Qualifications, and Education
Candidates will be required to have:
· A minimum of 4 - 6 years of wireless experience
· A minimum of 5 years experience in project management
· Managed large deployments in multitasking environments
· Experience managing many remote teams from a central location
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans
· Experience leading daily or weekly meetings, including documenting action items and ensuring deadlines are met

· Previous project management of large wireless network activities
· Effectiveness in communicating project goals
· Managing large project databases
· Demonstrated skill of paying in-depth attention to details
· Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans
· Working knowledge of cell site transport facilities ordering and scheduling
· Cell Site Modifications - antenna, power, generator and building/shelter augmentations
· Cell Site re-home planning and cut-over experience
· PSAP & E911 implementation coordination experience
· Contractor / Vendor management
