Our Challenges
Having multiple designers, each using separate systems for tracking and communicating with clients, with no centralized way to manage or monitor this client communication, at times left us out of touch with project status, client service and satisfaction levels.

Also with several landscape projects and designs always going on at the same time and with each designer managing around 50 clients throughout the year, it was difficult to prioritize our commitments, with specific client requirements occasionally getting overlooked or lost in the workload.

Once a project is completed its transferred between our various departments to our warranty department, but with no centralized process in-place to manage this transfer of information, data was sometimes inconsistent, incomplete or even lost. There was also no systematic or uniform client follow-up process.

It was also very challenging to monitor or track client or internal projects, communications and data without physically chasing down information between different departments and individual designers from within the office.

 OUR FIRST KAZELI LIVING MARKETPLACE WITH CHET HOLMES 14/08/08 

We had a blast during our first live teleconference featuring 8 businesses pitching their product or service to a virtual stadium of callers. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks to Chet Holmes and to the 8 businesses that participated in our first call. Being the first to try something new can be a little daunting, but I thought you guys (and girl!) all did a great job! Also, a big thanks to everyone who stopped by to listen-in on the call as well as to those who downloaded the call after the event.

We did however experience a little unforeseen technical ‘glitch’ that prevented hundreds of additional callers from accessing the call live. Once the call got started, our software automatically started taking registrations and prompting participants to our next event date :-0 So we unfortunately managed to disappoint hundreds of people who wanted to join us on the live call and ended up getting signed up for our next event. Sorry!

We received a lot of feedback during and after the last event. Here’s some highlights:

  1. Both the listeners and the speakers were very excited about the uniqueness of the venue, the energy of a live audience and the scope of the opportunity
  2. Listeners enjoyed the spontaneity
  3. Listeners learned a great deal about products and services that they normally wouldn’t have taken the time to hear or research
  4. People are anxious for our next event
  5. Most speakers are keen to participate again on future Living Marketplace events and many new potential speakers have already signed up to present in the next event
  6. Speakers liked the concept and platform for the event
  7. We had a mixed bag of results for the speakers. Some got tremendous results while others were a little disappointed.
  8. Some of the speakers were a bit nervous and maybe didn’t present their product as well as they would have liked.
  9. Almost all the speakers felt the live interaction with Chet helped them in their presentation.
  10. Getting on the call at the right time is always a bit tricky, especially working with multiple time zones
  11. Some products are geographically specific and the value of broadcasting to 150+ countries doesn’t appeal/apply to every business

 LONDON BUSINESS STARTUP EXHIBITION 01/05/07 

The Business Startup 2007 at the London Excel will always be remembered as the first public presentation of Kazeli Web Office 2.0.

Being currently headquartered in Cyprus and with the setup of our London office still in its early stages, it took a lot of effort, planning and expense to get us all over to London for the exhibition… That said we are definitely glad that we made it over! The show was a great success and to be honest, we were a little overwhelmed by the level of interest and the huge amount of positive feedback we received.

Getting live feedback by our potential end users was priceless and went a long way in helping us pin-point the advantages that you saw in the Kazeli solution.

The first visitor to our stand was just as memorable as the event itself… Stelios Hadjioannou, the man behind the global success of the Easy brand, and guest speaker at the event, was the first to stop by and check out Kazeli and that got us off to a great start.

20% of the people we talked to signed up for our special offer at the event, which is pretty excellent for a preview of a new solution! Only problem…we weren’t set-up to demo fast enough to those interested and for the most part only managed to demo to visitors one by one… which left many people disappointed. Next time round, we’ll be setup with a bigger booth and run mini-seminars and demos on the hour.
