Prior to my becoming a novelist, I was a surgical nurse for 3 years at St. Stephen's Church Hospital in Australia.
I then decided I wanted to write novels.
I studied with the Mona Vale Writing School, in New South Wales, and gained a Diploma in Writing.
I also received a Cerificate of Merit for my writings at James Cook University in Townsville.
After receiving awards for my poetry, I decided to continue writing.
Later, I went teaching and speaking and diversified my talents into making cards and artwork/s that are for sale at www.1stmist.com.
I also went guest speaking at small venues such as libraries.
