Convert a flat contact/company record into a relationship
If you have a contact record that was created as a company and contact on the same record, you can either keep it as-is or convert to the new method.
With the new contact system this is not allowed. Here's how you can convert this flat contact record to the correct company to contact relationship structure.
- From the contact record click EDIT
- Then click the red RELATE link (see above)
- Relate the contact to an existing company
If you know the company doesn't already exist you'll need to create it before you try to relate it.
